Abstract


Based on the 1910 "causes of the financial crisis in the late qing dynasty as the research object, according to economic theory, from the nature of the financial crisis, namely" money market long-term supply and demand imbalances "perspective to explain the causes of the formation of the financial crisis in the late qing dynasty in 1910. Took place in Shanghai in 1910 "rubber stock affair" make Shanghai financial markets suffered a serious blow, after the storm rapidly spread to the rich and the Yangtze river in jiangsu and zhejiang area, southeast coastal and big cities across the country, the national industry and commerce, "financial crisis", which will sweep the country developed into crisis after the effect of gradual accumulation of the xinhai revolution, ended the reign of the qing dynasty. Thesis starting from the background of financial crisis, further research the 1910 financial crisis monetary and financial conditions, the clearance empire capital investment from foreign trade, foreign debt, industry development and financial revenue and expenditure analysis from the aspects such as the serious shortage of money supply in the late qing dynasty, the qing government financial monetary reform failed to address the issue has intensified the contradiction between supply and demand. A serious shortage in the money supply, began in 1910 is a national financial crisis. Compared with previous financial agitation, the effect is more lasting.
