Abstract

Objective: To study gastric cancer and adjacent tissues in XEDAR gene promoter region CpG island methylation status, further analysis of its correlation with gastric cancer. Methods: MSP method detected 31 cases of gastric cancer tissue specimens, 30 cases of cancer tissue specimens and 30 cases in the control tissue specimens XEDAR gene methylation status next, and then using the SPSS 16.0 software the line x2 test analysis comparing cancer tissue and control the organization XEDAR gene methylation rates, cancer next the organization control tissue XEDAR gene methylation rate, moderately differentiated gastric cancer patients with poorly differentiated gastric the group XEDAR gene methylation rate and male patients with gastric cancer group and female gastric gene methylation rate of the patients group XEDAR difference significant test level α = 0.05, when P lt; 0.05, significant. Results: 31 cases of gastric cancer methylation was 96.77% (30/31), methylation rate was 12.90% (4/31), partially methylated rate of 83.87% (26/31), non-methane The base rate was 3.23% (1/31). 30 cases of adjacent organizations methylation rate was 93.33% (28/30), which fully methylated rate of 6.67% (2/30), the partially methylated 86.67% (26/30), the non-methylated the rate was 6.67% (2/30). 30 cases of control tissue methylation rate was 86.67% (26/30), the unmethylated rate of 13.33% (4/30). 7 patients with well-differentiated adenocarcinoma, methylation rate of 85.71% (6/7); differentiated adenocarcinoma of the nine cases, the methylation rate of 100% (9/9); 14 cases of poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma The methylation was 100% (14/14); one case with other types of gastric cancer, the methylation rate of 100% (1/1). Methylation in 22 male patients with gastric cancer was 100% (22/22), nine cases of female patients with gastric cancer methylation rate of 88.89% (8/9). The XEDAR gene methylation rate cancer tissue and control tissue no significant difference (P gt; 0.05) paracancerous organization and control tissue XEDAR gene methylation rate no significant difference (P gt; 0.05). Moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma and poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma group XEDAR gene methylation status was no significant difference (P gt; 0.05). XEDAR gene methylation status in the male the gastric group with female gastric cancer group was no significant difference (P gt; 0.05). Conclusion: ① cancer tissue and cancer tissue control tissue XEDAR gene promoter CpG islands are methylated phenomenon; of ② cancerous tissue and control tissue XEDAR gene methylation rate was no significant difference in cancer tissue and control tissue of XEDAR gene methylation rate no statistically significant differences, moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma and poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma the group's XEDAR gene methylation status was no significant difference between male gastric cancer patients and female gastric the groups XEDAR gene methylation status no significant difference; ③ MSP is a qualitative method for detection of DNA methylation of specific sites, and more sensitive.
