Abstract


Since the 1990s, the electronic media has entered public life,cultural patterns of society has also occurred a major transformation, the media created one by one“surreal”symbols events. The mass media with its strong“symbolic violence”broke the boundaries of traditional culture,growing more and more types of contemporary culture,homogenization and vulgarization,consumer and media have built this world together. Bearing culture and communication of the mass media under the consumerism, the role of the business logic,fade away the aura of the sacred, has brought the essence and cultural complex of the coexistence of dross,vulgarization of media dissimilation phenomenon is the development of media culture typical characteristics.The Chinese modernization’s historic course is filling the contradiction and the difference,from the free market economy to the centralized political system,to has the contemporary expense culture characteristic life style from the revival tradition’s demand,from news field territory which is controlled to entertainment’s medium form, each cultural phenomenon and the essential factor are put in an immediately cultural space.literature classics’unceasing rescreening,tendencies in the media field for privatization and entertainment,media intellectuals in the mass media play a role in a series of media culture fraught with tension and conflicts,clarify the relationship between them and the reasons behind the phenomenon are the starting point of this article. This paper introduces the French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu’s media thoughts, which do to some typical phenomenon in the Chinese media culture rational reflection and criticism.
