Abstract


2010 China Shanghai World Expo , the Expo will be held for the first time since landing in developing countries . The event attracted nearly 246 countries and international organizations participating , 73,000,000 tourists to view . These two figures are refreshed in the Expo 's history. Among the exhibition hall , how to get more foreign tourists interested in China Pavilion , organized to achieve value lies not only beautiful pavilion style, effective Chinese-English Profile is also very important. Based on the language of Andre Martinet et al economic theory , using a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, from China Shanghai World Expo Theme Pavilion site collected 64 Introduction from the vocabulary, syntax and discourse analysis in particular and three levels research . This paper studies the main problems are : First, how it affects the economic principles of English version ; Second, how the economy under the guidance of the principles of translation like this tend to call the class Introduction text ; Third, how to deal with cultural differences on foreign China Shanghai World Expo Pavilion About Chinese to English . With AntConc corpus analysis corpus and analysis software for word frequency analysis in order to ensure the reliability of results . Thinking way found by the differences and cultural differences, Chinese pavilion Profile Translation English there are two main problems : lack of information redundancy and culture . For these two problems, proposed the deletion of redundant information and adding auxiliary information two strategies . After translation of the article to make more concise , easy to read , does not violate the guarantee on the basis of the original , you can delete the appropriate vocabulary word on the scope of redundancy , modifiers and strengthening words ; syntactic redundancy grammatical unit ; textual high frequency repetitive . While a similar promotional materials bear spreading cultural functions , the translation process is not only to pursue economic , but also consider cultural differences factor. Therefore need to retain a certain degree of cultural translation loaded words and poetry and literature references and explain.
