Abstract


Democracy as an important achievement of the development of human political civilization has proved to be the most reasonable political forms. Nowadays democracy is not only a universal human value goal, but also the main trend of world political development. Since modern times, China has never ceased to searching for the road of democracy. Especially since the establishment of China, three generations of the Communist Party of China in order to build a Socialist Democratic politics have made unremitting exploration. Finally, China has established the democratic political system and preliminary construction the socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics model: "realize the leadership of the Communist Party of China, sovereignty of the people and building a country under the rule of law." But as an emerging democracy country, establish the democratic political system in China is not a smooth road, China has also faces many serious challenges. For now, China is still in the primary stage of socialism, under the influence of the historical, economic, political, cultural, social and population the development of democratic politics in China still have many imperfections. However, China’s reform and opening up and the global wave of democratization proposed a higher requirement on the construction of socialist democratic politics. Therefore, at this stage to improve China’s socialist democratic politics we need to sum up historical experience and overcome the disadvantages of the reality, and continue to promote the establish of the socialist market economy, the basic political system and the legal system, at the same time expand the political participation of citizens and cultivate an advanced political culture. Only under these measures China’s socialist democratic politics can be more perfect and even more responsive to the requirements of the times.
