Abstract


John Mill (John · Mill) is a 19th-century liberal political philosophers . His main political philosophical works - \This book describes two of liberalism and utilitarianism based on individual rights and government authority, and the government's ideal model : representative government. Individuals (individuals) elections and government organizations , and individual rights as the limits of government power resides ; while representative government is limited government power and protect the rights of the individual can be realized guaranteed. This paper is divided into three major parts , the first analysis of major political background and Mill's ideas formed the background , followed by an analysis Mill liberalism and utilitarian thinking that lay representative of his theory of the formation and development , and finally the evaluation such conclusive language. This paper attempts to liberal and utilitarian view of its theoretical approach basic to elaborate , explicitly Mill's liberalism and utilitarianism . On this basis , relying on \foundation of political philosophy . Then we accordingly Mill representative depth analysis of the theory of meaning , and thus grasp the theory of Mill's representative at the time of the exact point in the context of its inadequacies .
