In recent years, with the rapid development of nanotechnology, nanomaterials people awareness and research has also made considerable progress. Among them, gold, silver, copper metal nanoparticles represented, because of its excellent physical and chemical properties, which are widely used in biomedicine, optoelectronics fields. Noble Metal Nanoparticles near-field and far-field characteristics of the particles mainly derived from localized surface plasmon resonance. Studies have shown that noble metal nanoparticles localized surface plasmon resonance properties will be subject to particle size, geometry, dielectric properties and the surrounding physical environment, etc. factors. In addition, the precious metal nanoparticles larger near-field enhancement around them also in nonlinear optics, scanning near-field optical microscopy and surface-enhanced Raman scattering, etc. all have wide application. In this thesis, three kinds of metal nanostructures for the study (silver nanoshells, elliptical gold tube, two metal layer concentric nanotubes), were applied Mie scattering theory and the finite difference time domain method of localized surface of the particles plasmon resonance characteristic structural changes are discussed on the particle plasmon resonance characteristics, and the results of the physical connotation elaborated analysis. The main research contents and results are as follows: First, the application of Mie scattering theory to study the geometry of silver nano-shell particles embedding medium structural changes and their far-field absorption. Study found that silver nano shell thickness of the shell so that it becomes generals blue shift of the resonance peak, the kernel will formant larger redshifts. Kernel or embedded dielectric constant increases will make the absorption peak of silver nanoshells redshift. Application polarization charge, free electrons and charge oscillations competition between the variation explained. Two, we propose a new structure of elliptical cross section gold tube and apply FDTD simulation method to study the change in shape of the electric field changes the polarization direction, wall thickness variation and change its core and embedding medium localized surface plasmon plasmon resonance characteristics. Study found that when the same ellipse semi-major axis, semi-minor axis extinction peak reduction would make obvious red shift; while the incident electric field polarization ellipse long axis of the angle between the direction of the General Assembly led to the extinction peak red shift. Thinner wall will cause particle plasmon resonance peak rapid redshift, the kernel will allow an increase in dielectric constant extinction peak red shift. The study also found that the particle plasmon resonance also depends on the surrounding environment, and with the increase of embedding dielectric constant greater redshifts. Therefore, the structure can be good for the environment and the detection of biological tissue. At the same time, also applied to study the FDTD simulation of elliptical gold tube near field distribution. The wavelength of the resonant wavelength of the particles the maximum field enhancement; semi-minor axis becomes large so that the field intensity distribution of nanotubes from both ends high, middle and low variation of uniform; incident electric field polarization direction of the increase in the angle between the major axis field strength inside the tube causes rapid increase; core and embedded dielectric constant will cause an increase in both the nanotubes and around the small field strength becomes smaller. Third, the application of the method to calculate the FDTD simulation SiO2-Ag-Au and SiO2-Au-Ag two kinds of two metal layer nanotubes extinction spectra, and its localized surface plasmon resonance characteristics were studied. Study found that kernel size becomes generals make two kinds of nanotubes were produced LSPR peak redshift; inner and outer metal shell thickness becomes large metal will involve two kinds of nanotubes produced LSPR peaks blue shift. Meanwhile, the discovery of silver shell thickness changes on the nanotube solution LSPR modulation effect thickness of the shell is greater than the impact of changes.
