Abstract


Nowadays, the market economy is developing continuously, but China also need to establish and improve the public cultural service system for implementing Scientific Concept of Development, enhancing the capacity of building an advanced socialist culture as well as building a harmonious society. The establishment of this system has attracted extensive attention by the society, and has become another important task for Chinese culture construction, especially in rural areas.This paper starts from the "radio and television coverage" project in rural areas of Shanghai, selects the typical example as a case study, makes specific analysis through case studies, quantitative analysis and other methods, and then gives recommendations. It can bring a bit of inspiration for the most of the construction of public cultural services in China.The paper is divided into five parts. The first part introduces the background and significance. The second section provides an overview of rural public cultural service system of the current situation and the main theoretical which guiding construction of public cultural service system in rural areas. The third part analyzes the status of the rural public cultural service system from the "radio and television coverage" project in rural areas of Shanghai. The fourth part analyzes the problem of China’s rural public cultural service system from the "radio and television coverage" project in rural areas of Shanghai. The last part explains the strategies and recommendations of promoting rural public cultural service system of our country.
