Abstract


Kanas tourism has developped and the visitors have increased year by year, Burqin county is one of the station through which tourists go to and off Kanas scenic spot. The development of Kanas scenic have a siganificant impact on urban residents in Burqin. More and more scholars pay attention to impact of tourism development on city and community. Attention to the influence of Kanas tourism development on urban residents in Burqin county, can promote tourism develop sustainablely and interests between tourism development and the residents.Based on summarizing the residents’perception of tourism economic impact at home and abroad, this paper research the impact of Kanas tourism development on the economy and consumption levels of urban residents in Burqin, by questionnaire and interviews, draw the following main conclusions. Income of residents whose work are travel-related is significantly higher than the residents that are unrelated in travel season, but in low season, the average monthly income is about the same. Residents whose work are travel-related are influenced more by tourism development, and there are largely ups and downs in income. Residents whose work is with independent travel are less affected by tourism development, and the income is relatively stable. Residents whose work are travel-related and those who are closely to tourism could perceive more positive impact of tourism development, and give more support for tourism development. Average monthly consumption of travel-related residents are just the same in travel season and low season, but the average monthly consumption of low season is slightly higher than travel season. The average monthly consumption of tourist season and low season was decreasing year by year. In recent years,the average monthly consumption of residents whose work is unrelated tourism gradually raise, and there is no obvious difference between tourist season and low season.
