Abstract


With the development of China's economy , the increasingly close relationship between economic growth and the RMB exchange rate , China's rapid economic growth to study the relationship of the RMB exchange rate and economic growth , is of great significance for the RMB exchange rate reform , promote economic growth . Literature , analysis of the medium-and long-term impact factor of the exchange rate , and to study the role of the mode of economic growth in the medium and long term , the RMB exchange rate . According to the mode of economic growth and exchange rate determination model for the evolution of exchange rates in the different stages of economic growth are described and reference to the experience of Japan, Germany and other regions of the currency exchange rate changes on the evolution of the exchange rate in the process of economic development do Note , by analyzing the product structure of China's trade to China which economic development stage and technical level , and deduced the future trend of the RMB exchange rate . Finally, through empirical research on the relationship between the mode of economic growth and the RMB exchange rate . Through research, the paper concludes : different mode of economic growth have different effects on the exchange rate , the epitaxial economic growth and connotative economic growth together determine the exchange rate changes . The evolution of the mode of economic growth is bound to make the currency exchange rate appreciation after a first devaluation process , when the labor input and capital investment potential not exhausted when , the currency devaluation can pull the epitaxial growth of the economy ; when economic development to a certain stage , the connotative economic development must the currency appreciation . Therefore, the stage of development of the economy general appreciation of the currency exchange rate depreciation of a general law . Tradables structure analysis shows that China in economic growth is in the process of transformation of economic growth in the second to the third stage , on the technical level of the tradables structure analysis shows that the technical content of the Chinese economy is in a period of transition to enhance RMB exchange rate appreciation is inevitable . Empirical results show that the mode of economic growth and RMB nominal exchange rate of the RMB nominal exchange rate , the connotation economic growth and external economic growth among cointegrated , the connotation economic growth can promote the appreciation of the RMB , the yuan epitaxial economic growth depreciation of the nominal exchange rate .
