Abstract


In Wester Jin dynasty,Lu Ji was a very sensitive and conflict writer.His experience and sensitivity that made he have a profound sense of anxiety,and this sense especially appeared on Wen Fu.The article captures this sense of anxiety,and makes a new explanation for Wen Fu from this angle of view.The paper explores the sense of anxiety in Wen Fu from five aspects.The exploration begins with the headspring of anxiety,that is "I constantly fear failure in my conceptions not being equal to the things of the world,and in my writings not being equal to my conceptions".The antinomy among "conceptions","world" and "writings" has its roots in the tradition of Chinese philosophy.As a literator,Lu Ji had a duty to compose the antinomy,and this attempt aroused the sense of anxiety.The second aspect the article explores is the anxiety of influence.The tradition of Chinese literary history has always maintained excessive respect to previous writers,so the younger writers felt more "anxiety of influence".On the one hand,Lu Ji Continuously simulated of the previous works,at the same time,he was extremely eager to have a distinctive originality."I must dread lest others have preceded me" perfectly showed the anxiety in his heart.Lu Ji’s anxiety also rooted in the dread of criticisms.Since Han dynasty,literary criticisms had been stem.Writers must be very careful,or else they would be criticized or laughed.Lu Ji wanted that his works can come down forever,so he’s always worrying when he’s composing works.Lu Ji’s anxiety also was the product of the times.From Hart dynasty to Jin dynasty,the status of literature improved rapidly.Writers were eager to obtain their social status by writing.Writers thinked more about human’s life,Lu Ji wanted to achieve "immortality" by writing,and made writing more heavy.Finally the article tries to explore Lu Ji’s sense of anxiety by his family and experiences.Lu Ji was pride of his family’s glory,and also worrying about its decadence.As "the official of a conquered country",Lu Ji felt a great contrast between his ideal and the reality.All this became the reasons for the sense of anxiety in Wen Fu.The article tries to explore the sense of anxiety in Wen Fu,and make a new perspective to understand it.This is an attempt to expand the significance of Wen Fu.
