Abstract


With the deepening in the reform of China’s education and teaching,people pay more attention to training students’ability.Educators are constantly trying to develop teaching mode and methods which would enhance students’ability.The Reform for Basic Education Curriculum(Trial) promulgated by the state put forword that we should train students to have capacity of collecting and processing information,acquiring new knowledge,to have analysis,problem_solving,communication and cooperation abilities.It is one of the specific objectives of the reform for the basic education curriculum.The purpose of the reform is to change students’learning way to simply accept the knowledge,rote and mechanical drills,is to construct open learning environment and provide more channels for the opportunity to acquire knowledge,is to train students to take the initiative to learn,happy to study and diligently thinking.Therefore,high school teachers of the ideological and political class should further update education and teaching concepts,change teaching methods.In this paper,combining Problem_Based Learning(referred to PBL) put forward firstly by Barrows,American professor of neurology at MeMaster University in Canada with his own teaching practice,the author carries out a rational thinking,and to be tested in practice.The thesis sets out the first chapter of the introduction to study the subject’s background,purpose and significance of the status of research at home and abroad,points out the ideas and methods of the study.Chapter Two goes through overview of PBL on the content and basic characteristics,and compares with the traditional teaching,then introduces the basic processes of the PBL theory on the basis and the value of teaching.Chapter Three presents significance and principles of PBL in the ideological and political class.Chapter Four is focused on teaching practice related to PBL research,encompassing the following three aspects.(1)Implementation of PBL teaching lesson preparation and the programme.(2) PBL’s five stages in the ideological and political lessons.(3)Teaching experiment of carrying out PBL research,the final results of its analysis,the finding of the study.Chapter Five gives a conclusion and reflection of the dissertation,points out some limitations of PBL and puts forward recommendation for the application of PBL.
