Abstract


Shipping is not only a capital-intensive,but also a technology-intensive industry. shipping market is a large-scale,competitive market full of risks.The ship investment is large-scale in the shipping industry,and it is closely related to shipping development.The ship investment is not just in domestic investment ship areas,but also an important area for international investment,which predicts the complexity and risk of ship investing.Ship investment decision will cast direct influence not only on the whole process of management from purchasing ships to operating them,but also on the future business profit of shipping enterprises.Due to the fact that ship investment markets are enormously affected by world economy and international trade,and that ship investment project has such characteristics as big capital occupation,long profit-gaining period and many indefinite elements,there exists a great risk in the project of ship investment,which is,in many cases unpredictable. Therefore it is very necessary to make risk analysis on the projects of ship investment by using scientific and appropriate means of decision-making.In the modern management shipping enterprises,various influencing factors of vessel investment projects should be recognized,approximated and assessed before final decision is made.Most of traditional ship the investment literature is based on the time value of the capital,also procured a lot of scientific research fruits.However,on account of the inherent shortcomings of the traditional investment theory,the decision-making methods of traditional investment haven’t met the needs of the modem investment decision-making environment,so new ship investment theories are required to update the tradition ship investment decision-making theories to answer for the reality much more.Base on the over background,firstly this paper analyzes the characters of ship investment and the four types of risks faced by the investment projects.Then it combines with the establishment of evaluation index system,and sets up a new evaluation model by using the DHGF Method.The purpose of the thesis is to give full consideration to the basis of the various influence factors,author wants to make decision between many Investment programs in a number of ships.
