Producer services for improving manufacturing productivity, improve the industrial chain, increase scientific and technological information content is important. However, the existing domestic producer services research focuses on service developed regions, for areas in the mid-industrialization, there are still many deficiencies related research. Based on industry related and spatial distribution characteristics analysis to explore in the mid-industrialization development status of producer services in Hebei Province, the industrial association, spatial characteristics of the general law. Hebei Province industrial structure adjustment and optimization of spatial structure to provide a scientific basis, but also help enhance the competitiveness of industry in Hebei Province and the economic development pattern, complement and enrich our region-wide study of producer services content system. This paper first introduces the research background, significance of the topic, content, technology roadmap, producer services defined and progress in related research at home and abroad. Second, through the evolution of the industrial structure in Hebei Province, the development of producer services scoping study to understand the development of producer services background.
