Based on green culture theory, building of green coal mining enterprise culture has set up a kind of new enterprise culture, which is composed of the heritage and innovation of old corporate culture. It can reduce ecological cost, create new productivity, cause internal harmony in enterprises, enhance the competitiveness of coal mining industry. On basis of green cultural theory, with analyzing the characteristics of Chinese coal enterprises, this paper explores the function and significance of building green culture in coal enterprises. By analyzing the opportunities, weaknesses, challenges and advantages, this paper demonstrates the necessity of building green culture in coal mining enterprises. Paper also proposes the strategies and methods of green culture construction. By setting up new spiritual culture, behavioral culture and image culture, coal mining enterprises promote the change of old culture. Paper also considers coal mining enterprises should set up new values, new spirit, new moral and green culture education and applies green culture theories into practice. Paper further demonstrates that green culture construction has a great practical significance in green technology innovation, productivity promotion and enhancing enterprise competitiveness.
