Abstract


Ms.Wu Bixia is a rising star in vocal music industry in China.Her professional skills of blending the east and the west,fully inclusive and equitable,cause great attention in this industry.Her highly skilled singing combines the Chinese folk songs with the West opera,and subverts the traditional concepts formed for decade in the vocal music industry in China.Ms. Wu Bixia advocates breaking the division of the concepts of singing,and returning to the natural essence of art.A variety of singing should learn from each other,integration,inclusive. Her singing is characterized by:not only has both the fish and bear’s paw,but also has her own characteristics in the process of the two singing style,making Wu bixia’s mark,making her singing full of magic.This thesis starts with Ms.Wu Bixia’s successful singing practice,details on Ms.Wu Bixia’s step across the folk singing to western singing,and her professional skills of blending the east and the west fully inclusive and equitable,and her concepts of returning to the natural essence of art.Through the analysis of the works of the different style of folk singing and western singing,it researches in depth her characters in singing.Through the analysis of the professional skills,it introduces how she learns from the different singing styles and forms her own singing style.It correctly analyzes the influence made to domestic music industry by "Wu Bixia phenomenon",and points out the disadvantages of division of singing styles and the direction of the development of vocal music in the future,then gives some enlightenments to later comers in this area.Ms.Wu Bixia’s bravely attempt is not only her individual progress in art,but also an important event in Chinese vocal music industry.Her practice not only brought us new methodology in teaching and learning on vocal music,and will change the direction of development of Chinese vocal music.
