Abstract


This thesis is to study from the the equivalent translation Perspective translation of public speeches , in order to provide useful guidance for translators and interested parties have engaged in public speeches translated . First , the paper briefly describes the scholars previous research results of functional equivalence and public speaking , to help the reader to form a basic understanding of this aspect of . Then , on the basis of the Wu Xinxiang Lihong An Equal Value Translation , to establish a theoretical framework to reasonable guidance to help public speeches practice of translation . So that readers have a general understanding of the language of the English public speeches before personally translation case study , the next section describes the language features of English public speeches . Finally, the authors analyzed by a large number of instances , words, phrases , sentences , ultra- sentence and chapter five different levels of functional peer-to-peer applications in the translation of the speech were analyzed . So that the reader through the system to learn and master the method, and then appropriate to be used in the practice of translation . Public speaking and its translation is an important channel for cultural exchange , to reflect the specific characteristics of the times . The authors hope that this paper can contribute to and be able to start a discussion .
