Abstract


Sub-health which drifted away from the health and disease is a status that is not completely healthy and not suitable to the standard of disease. It generally refers to the body no obvious disease, but it appears the physiological status of lower vitality, physiological functions and metabolic processes, and decreased adaptability in some degree. The experts on medicine and psychology all over the world do the sub-health research for many years, but until now, there is still no standardized diagnosis of a specific parameter. This paper conducted a survey and analysis on sub-health status based on the students of some colleges and universities in Wu Han area, and the findings show that:⑴The overall distribution of sub-health statusRespondents in the 1860 cases, 1684 were sub-health status, 90.54 % of the total, and 176 were healthy persons, accounting for 9.46% overall.⑵Distribution of the sub-health status of the students in different genderRespondents in the 1860 cases, 720 were male, sub-health status for 639 people (88.75%), 81 healthy people (11.25%); 1140 were female, sub-health status for 1045 people (91.67%), 95 healthy people (8.33%). Distribution of the sub-health status were significantly different among different genders (X2 = 35.85, P <0.0001).Compared with boys, girls are more likely to have sub-health status.⑶Distribution of sub-health status of the students in different body mass indexThere is no significant difference distribution of the sub-health status among students of different body mass index. (Wilcoxon Two-Sample Test,Z=-0.0670,P>0.05)。⑷The distribution of sub-health status of the students be from different regionIn 1860 cases, urban students 480, account for (25.81%); city students 640 account for (34.41%), students form rural areas 740 students, account for (39.78%).⑸Influencing factors of Sub-health physical statusBecause of a high level of tension to study, the main body organs stay in the un-normal state for a long-term, and it appears the body resistance dropping down.⑹The psychological impacting factors of sub-health statusThe impact of psychological factors of self-affirmation on sub-health status have significant difference statistically (F = 57.91, P <0.001). Self-affirmation of the rating lower, the severity of sub-health status higher.Levels of psychological factors of depression scores on the impact of sub-health status have a statistically significance(F=22.63,P=0.001).The psychological factors of depression scores higher, the more serious sub-health status is.⑺The impact factors on sub-health status about social adaptationAdaptability to the living environment show in: interpersonal relations, environmental conditions, the economy, the home of friction.By analyzing and discussing the results of, this paper makes the following interventions:⑴Understand the harm brought by "sub-health" fully;⑵Enhance the school health education;⑶Strengthen mental health education, use the right attitude to face stress, learn to relax;⑷Emphasize the role of family and society ,establish a healthy lifestyle;⑸Expand the health education, carry out a variety of sports positively;⑹Build and try to perfect the early warning mechanism of the student’s sub-health.
