China Ocean University New Library construction area of ??45,000 square meters , invested 100 million yuan , both architectural concept , building size , the level of automation or literature collections quantity, quality has a historic breakthrough and become the province's most outstanding library world. Library construction project involves broad areas constrained by many factors , tight , very necessary for research evaluation project schedule management , construction project management for future library for reference. In this paper, this background conditions , in the study of modern project management theory , based on the live library construction project management were analyzed. The use of project management-related knowledge to library construction , for example, describes the project schedule and control principles and methods in the library construction practice in the specific application . Thesis is divided into four parts: the paper first discusses the theory and methods of project management , a more systematic understanding of the basic elements of project management and network planning techniques . Secondly, the introduction of the library construction project preparatory work , discusses the new library project planning and organizational structure, specifically including system planning principles , planning objectives, the scale of construction , the overall structural framework , the project arrangements , project management, organizational structure . Again, discusses in detail how to use the schedule of the project schedule developed theory , how to carry out the project work breakdown structure , work order to determine the relationship , and according to the preparation of a project activity duration estimating the duration of the project plan table , network diagrams and critical path . Finally , according to the project schedule control theory, discusses the project in the construction process that result in the total duration of the delay factors ; how logic by changing workplace relations and build relationships lap response measures , for the total duration of the control and reach the final to meet schedule requirements.
