Abstract


This paper mainly discusses the Wilson idealistic idea generated sources and historical background, by discourse the main contents and characteristics of the Wilson idealism, discussed the implications of the Wilson idealism on the United States diplomatic practice and international political, and last analyze the inspiration to the Chinese theory of building a harmonious world.Chapter one expatiates the Wilson idealistic idea generated sources and historical background. Woodrow?Wilson, has played four different roles in his life: Christians, academics, political reformer and diplomat. Through the experienced and sentiment of the first three roles, when he face the opportunities and challenges of the First World War, him to redefine the relationship between the United States and the world, to redefine the United States in the world benefits, responsibilities and status.Chapter two discusses the main contents and characteristics of the Wilson idealism. The Fourteen points constitute the core content of idealism and analysis its difficulties in practice. The second part of this chapter discusses the characteristics of Wilson’s idealism.Chapter three analyses the implications of the Wilson idealism on the United States diplomatic practice and international political. As a road signs of the United States national strategy, Wilson idealism is not to change the world, but for the world’s efforts to set a direction.Chapter four analyses the inspiration to the Chinese theory of building a harmonious world. Wilson idealism laid the foundation for the United States to become the overlord of the world. China put forward the idea of a harmonious world, establishing the goal effort with the world people to build a harmonious world.
