Objective: To compare the Soviet Union's bonesetting combined with external fixation and internal fixation of tibial plateau efficacy : the group of 80 patients with tibial plateau fractures in 62 males and 18 females , aged 24-64 years , mean 42 years . Were randomly divided into the external fixation group (A ) and internal fixation group (B group ) , 40 patients in each , were used to Su's Manipulations combined with external fixation ( group A ) and open reduction and plate and screw (B group ) treatment, the efficacy of both treatments . Results : 80 patients were followed up for 6-20 months , an average of 12-14 months , according to the clinical function score : A group of excellent in 9 cases , good in 29 cases , 1 case and poor in 1 case , good rate of 95 % ; B were excellent , good in 30 cases , 9 cases , 0 poor ; excellent rate of 77.5% . Two groups by rank sum test , the difference was statistically significant ( P lt ; 0.01 ) Conclusion : the Su's bonesetting external fixator combined with an effective method for the treatment of tibial plateau fractures , but more knee The external fixator limit knee , need to be further improved as with activities shaft buckling external fixator .
