Abstract

Objective: To investigate the long-term effect of the treatment effect and photocoagulation krypton yellow laser photocoagulation treatment of diabetic patients with Irvine-Gass syndrome, analysis contrast krypton yellow laser and drug treatment of diabetic patients with Irvine-Gass syndrome. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 80 cases of 80 diabetic patients with Irvine-Gass syndrome patients, the patients were divided into two groups after the the FFA examination has photocoagulation indications, treatment of the group row retinal krypton yellow laser photocoagulation 42 cases; control group refused to line the retina krypton yellow laser photocoagulation in 38 cases, to be Diclofenac Sodium Eye Drops drops of suffering from eye and oral acetazolamide therapy. Vision changes after treatment were observed, fundus fluorescein angiography change and macular edema. Results: ① improve vision or unchanged: treatment group 42 cases, 42 eyes, visual acuity improved by the end of the follow-up, 36 (85.71%), visual acuity remained unchanged in six (14.29%). Significantly improved vision after photocoagulation, photocoagulation around the visual changes, the difference was statistically significant. Moderate NPDR, severe NPDR and PDR three groups photocoagulation vision with photocoagulation last followed up vision compared accounted for 100% of the same moderate the NPDR group of vision improve and vision, visual acuity improved vision severe NPDR group constant accounted for 95.46%, and 100% improvement of PDR group vision and visual acuity. 38 cases of the control group, 38 eyes, visual acuity improved by the end of the follow-up 2 (5.26%), visual acuity in 30 (78.95%). Vision was no significant improvement after drug treatment, visual changes before and after treatment was no significant difference. Vision changes in the two groups of patients before and after treatment, a significant difference. ② macular edema disappear or reduce: FFA results showed that the treatment group after treatment of macular edema completely absorbed in 35 (83.33%), partially absorbed seven (14.29%) (2.38%), three did not change, which moderate NPDR group complete regression and partial regression of 100%, severe NPDR group accounted for 95.46%, the PDR group completely subsided and partial regression accounting for 97.62%. Control group after treatment of macular edema completely absorbed in one (2.63%), absorb a portion of the 5 (13.16%), no change in 32 (84.21%), which moderate NPDR group completely subsided and the partial regression accounted for 21.43% of severe the NPDR group accounted for 12.50%, the PDR group completely subsided and partial regression of 12.50%. Macular edema there is a significant difference between the two groups of patients before and after treatment. ③ macular OCT image changes: before and after the treatment group patients photocoagulation macular thickness change difference was statistically significant, while the control group of patients before and after treatment macular thickness change no significant difference. Conclusion: krypton yellow laser photocoagulation treatment merger Irvine-Gass syndrome diabetes, can stabilize or improve vision, eliminate or reduce macular edema, is a safe and effective method of treatment.
