Abstract


Objective:To investigate the characteristics of sexual behavior among HIV-positive MSM(men who have sex with men) in Tianjin, and analyzing HIV-1 gene subtypes、drug resistance of this group.Materials and Methods:The study was conducted among 780 MSM from gay-bar、gay public bathroom、gay club houses and internet. Take blood smaples to test HIV-1 and CD+4 T count. The behavior information was acquired from questionnaires. The gag gene region of HIV-1 was amplified by RT-PCR and sequenced.Results:Of the 66 HIV-positive MSM, the average age is 28.6±8y; The rate of AIDS awareness was 78.98%; For the survey of sexual orientation,41 of 66 are self-confessed homosexual. One of 66 was heterosexual person.19 of 66 were self-confessed bisexuals. One person declined to answer the question; All the people have had anal sex with men in the past six months, an average of 4.4 sexual partners for each person. The rate of condom use in recent sexual intercourse was 63.6%; Among them,19 persons have sex with female, and the rate of condom use was 36.8%; 20 occurred commercial sex intercourse in the past half year.Positive and negative groups in the past six months, condom use in commercial sex, significant differences. Three subtypes of HIV-1 were observed in this test.36 cases were belong to CRF01-AE, accounting for 72%,8 cases were B subtype, accounting for 16%, CRF07_BC was observed in 6 cases, accounting for 12%. The result of resistance test showed that 1 case major mutation in PIs protease,7 case Secondary major mutation in PIs protease,9 case NRTI resistance mutations in Reverse transcriptase district, 12 case NNRTI resistance mutations,1 case of samples was also a secondary PI mutations and NNRTI resistance mutations.Conclusions:The separation of cognitive and behavior is existed in MSM-positive people in Tianjin. The spouses or heterosexual transmission, unprotected sex MSM and commercial sex behavior are risks in the infection of HIV; HIV-1 genotype is CRF01_AE based polymorphism and HIV drug resistance is not optimistic. The intervention and monitoring should be strengthened for the prevention.
