Abstract


The discourse marker special speaker verbal communication in order to show that their point of view , the attitude Pragmatic ingredients , its in - depth research to help understand people's cognitive psychology to explain discourse to build and understand the process more scientific . Discourse Markers from local or overall constraints and guide people socially , you can make a more coherent discourse , and thus in proper use of discourse markers can improve the efficiency of verbal communication . So , of great significance to the study of the discourse marker . Other words, the class discourse markers as the research object , Relevance Theory and coherent theory as the theoretical basis , using the combined method of description and explanation , from a different point of view of logic , pragmatics , communicative . The first part of this article systematically combing discourse marker research situation at home and abroad , and pointing out the inadequacies . The second part from syntactic , semantic, pragmatic angle defined discourse marker . The third part is defined on the basis of the second part of the other words DMs .
