Abstract


Under the comprehensive construction of harmonious society, it has been a significant property of Chinese economic and social development to solve problems regarding the most realistic interests to which people are greatly concerned and directly related, to speed up the improvement of people’s living standards as the focal point of social construction, to put forth effort to guarantee people’s living standards, to achieve the goal which is developing for people, developing relying on people and sharing development outcome with people. In the current period and also very long future time, China will be in the crucial phrase of constructing comprehensive moderate prosperous society, deepening reform and open policy and also accelerating transformation of economic development. How to solve people’s bread-and-butter issues is highly related to the realization of socialist modernization target and more importantly to the masses of the vital interests of people. Moreover, basing on the international environment, emphasizing more on people’s bread-and-butter issues is of great benefit to improve our country’s international prestige and influence, in terms of both theoretical and practical value.People’s livelihood issues have times attribute, different historical stages, and has different connotation and denotation manifestation. This paper will synthesize the ideas of the micro and macro, focus not only on people’s livelihood issues of the overall assurance but also on some specific problem, view the existing problems from the basic requirements of constructing harmonious society and analyze the problems in the new period of people’s livelihood under new connotation, new features, and with the demands of people’s livelihood, seeking to improve the well-being of the angle of reality.
