Abstract


Children's emotional understanding of their social cognitive abilities important part of the development of emotional understanding to help children communicate their feelings, the feelings of others and predict behavior, and their ability to regulate emotions to further social competence is very important. Children's negative emotions as a parent-child emotional interaction provides a special situation, the parents of young children how to react emotional expression, especially for young children how to react to negative emotions, and ability to understand children's emotional development are closely linked. In this study, parents of young children abroad on negative emotional reactions way to do a detailed study and analysis of combing and select a total of 270 children aged 3-5 years and their parents as an object of study, conducted two studies. Research a story using the test method and interviews investigated 3-5 years old children's emotional understanding the trends and characteristics of two parents using questionnaires investigated the reaction of young children approach is characterized by negative emotions, emotional understanding of children with parents of young children negative emotional response relationship between the way. The study reached the following conclusions :1,3-5-year-old children in this age stage of the basic emotions have a certain understanding. Ability to understand the emotions there are significant differences in age, with age, the child's emotional understanding is gradually improving children 3-4 years of age is an emotional ability to understand the rapid development stage. From the emotional understanding Overall, girls than boys emotional comprehension. Preschoolers' understanding of positive emotions to negative emotions better than understanding. 2, at different levels of emotion understanding tasks, children show different trends. Children based on emotional desire to understand earlier than faith-based emotion understanding appears. 3, the parents of infants negativity supportive response was higher than the level of non-supportive reactions. 4, the parents of young children in a negative emotional response way, a significant main effect of sex parents. Mothers' negative emotional reactions is higher than the support of his father; father of young children's negative emotions is higher than non-supportive reactions mother. 5, the parents of young children in a negative way on the emotional reactions, toddlers significant main effect of gender. Parents of girls negativity supportive response was higher than boys; parents of boys negativity non supportive response levels than girls. 6, child emotional comprehension negative emotions of young children with their parents supportive response was a significant positive correlation between; parents of young children with negative emotional reactions among non-supportive weak negative correlation.
