Abstract


The structure of“Mei(you) Shenme+X”is the most familiar one among all the negative declarative clauses of non-interrogative usage of“Shenme”. The thesis mainly studies the negative declarative clause structure“Mei(you) Shenme+X”from many aspects.The first chapter is introduction, introducing the object, the significance, the status and the tentative plan about the research.Chapter Two detailly observes and analyzes the syntactic feature of the structure“Mei(you) Shenme+X”. According to its appearing syntactic environment, we sum up all kinds of syntactic structures and analyze the ingredient and the usage of“Shenme”in the structure“Mei(you) Shenme+X”. The relations between the structure and the auxiliary“De”is also discussed.Chapter Three discusses the semantic characteristic of the structure“Mei(you) Shenme+X”by analysing the respective semantics of various syntaxes. The differences of three structures,“Mei(you) Shenme+X”,“You Shenme + X”and“Mei(you)X”, are compared to help the second language acquisition learners use them more correctly.In Chapter Four, based on the sufficient analysis of diachronic and synchronic corpus, the thesis detailly describes the development of the structure“Mei(you) Shenme+X”in different ages, observing its engendering trace as well as discussing its semantics and motivation of the changing usage.The last chapter is conclusion, summarizing the contents and the opinions of the research and pointing out some problems that have not yet been solved at present.
