Abstract


This paper discusses from before World War II ( 1841-1945 ) to World War ( 1945-2007 ) of the Hong Kong school music curriculum development process, and its pre-war years are divided into the nineteenth century 1841-1900 , twenty century to the pre-war years 1900-1945 , after World War II in 1945 to the 1990s , and then the twenty-first century, 2000-2007 , including the period of primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong Music curriculum materials and teaching methods . In this thesis, the data collection and collation, to fieldwork interviews , etc., reveals the development of Hong Kong's primary and secondary school music programs a step by step process of how to improve , and also outlines the context of different generations of music education in Hong Kong and was used by local materials. This paper summarizes the various periods of the history of Hong Kong School of Music for the future of Hong Kong and the Mainland to provide some reference music education .
