Abstract

With the growing integration of the world economy, the globalization of trade and international economic, trade and other activities of the world's growing prosperity. As a bridge and link of the international exchange and foreign trade English in international economic and trade has been more widely used. With China's accession to the WTO, the international trade exchanges and cooperation increasingly highlights the importance of foreign trade English as a special English more and more often used in major enterprises and companies to establish and maintain trade relations as well as a variety of trade, including Business Correspondence its simple form and convenient transmission of information, etc. has become the most important communication tool. So, trade letters translation has also become crucial if the appropriate translation, the promotion of trade, the contrary may lead to trade disputes. This article aims to Nida's functional equivalence theory, under the guidance of foreign trade English Correspondence translation skills. The main part of this paper is divided into six chapters, the first chapter is a the translated literature review about the functional equivalence theory and Business Correspondence. The second chapter introduces the Foreign Trade English Correspondence definition, function, structure, and the need for research. The third chapter details the Western translation theory, elaborated Nida's functional equivalence theory, including Nida proposed the development process of the translation of the definition of functional equivalence theory and reader-response theory. The fourth chapter analyzes the correspondences for foreign language features and style characteristics. For the analysis of these characteristics make us familiar with some of the established way to facilitate the reading and translation. Trade English to use a lot of specialized vocabulary, some common vocabulary in the trade in English has a special significance. Syntactic aspects, foreign trade English multi-use long sentences and passive sentences. Style, courtesy of its most significant features, time to pay particular attention to the translation.
