Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is always a serious problem perplexing our society.Rising crime rate recently urges us to rethink the causes of juvenile delinquency. Culture is the unique property of human being, which a major power of controlling human activities and a backbone of prevetning human from harming thte group with their animality, thus culture has an obvious effect on the crime.Culture is the ultimate source of crime directly affecting vie of criminality. Every kinds of culture types play an important role in committing crime,while culture is a significant factor triggering the crime. Social culture has its own discipline of emergence and development,at the same time it has synthetically reflected social economy and politics.If we want to effectively keep out juvenile delinquency,we must start from exploring the cultural causes leading to crimes, to eradicate harmful cultural causes in order to prevent the teenagers from negative impact of subculture.Anime subculture has a distinctive effect on juvenile delinquency.Teenagers are the pioneers of understanding and receving social culture, even the creative subject of it. However,in the diverse cultural phenomena,Japanese anime subculture has gradually caught our eyes.Anime culture is a cultural system through industrialization development, whose main carrier is cartoon,anime and game, which takes accessory sale and role play of cartoon as the assistant.During the transmitting process of anime subculture,teenagers are main audiences and transmitters.Its formation,development and transmission tightly connects with psychology and physiology of teenagers to form a distinct feature.Anime subculture with its rapid spread, wide range and great influence has became another important and brand-new cultural cause.At present,cultural causes leading to juvenile delinquency, which academic circles has proposed, are relatively comprehensive and profound.But the influences of anime subculture are rarely mentioned.On the one hand, scholars know little about the anime subculture and not yet do the survey research.On the other hand,because of common acknowledgement that cartoon exclusively belongs to teenagers,even is their own entertainment, the negative influences of anime subculture are very covert and difficult to discover.So the society, schools and families pay less attention to this problem。 Anime subculture has a numerous and jumbled system and complex content, whose main audiences are teenagers in our country.Anime subculture, with its unique charm, draws attention of the teenagers.Anime culture with its various kins and abundant contents, are in line with teenagers’unique aesthetic standard and taste. It is full of fashionable elements and hot topics, which has a strong inclusiveness of others social culture including plenty of subcultures, consequently teenagers pursue it.Teenagers’ psychology of learning, entertainment and conformity impel them to read anime products and participate in anime culture activities.The prosperous development of international cartoon industry has actively pushed forwards development and transmission of anime subculture,which has brought huge economic interests and a lot of social problems simultaneously. Anime subculture, with its plot of violence, eroticism, horror and mystery, crime and so on, exerts a subtle influence on teenagers’ideological and ethical character. It has weakened the connection between the teenagers and dominant culture, directly and indirectly leading to juvenile delinquency and other social aberrance behaviours.The negative factors in anime subculture profoundly and widely have influenced teenagers ’physical and mental health as well as personal development.If teenagers excessively receive this kind of subculture, they will be assimilated to lower the moral standard and elevate endurance of aberrance behaviours,so as to form unhealthy and incorrect social value concept and world view.So they will break away from normal social group to settle in subculture group, thus having embarked on a path of delinquency.It must use every kinds of social governance ways to prevent juvenile delinquency caused by anime subculture.Teenagers should endeavor to raise self-ideological and moral cultivation, learn good traditions and advanced scientific cultural knowledge, as well as raising the ability of identifying things and enchaning self-controlled ability.The familis and schools should take the lead to guide them from the childhood,keep an eye on teenagers amateur entertainment activities, using the correct value to influence and assimilate them.The schools must change educational ideas of taking academic record seriously but neglecting virtue education, carry out all-around quality oriented education and enhance legal education of teenagers.Education administrative department synthetically guide families and schools to carry out prevention and correction. It must supervise the internetwork to perfect administrative mechanism and develop filter software.With the popularization of internet, juvenile crimes increase constantly due to indulging in it.Administration department must reinforce the supervise of anime products markets, strict procedure of books and audio-visual products’censorship, strictly strike private version of anime books and audio-visual products.At the same time, it needs to increase the developmental speed of native cartoon industry and strengthen policy support, which focuses the superior power to create more cartoons with high quality and healthy contents, so as to help teenagers to grow healthily with correct value.
