Abstract

Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors of the human, its incidence is a multi-factor, multi-gene, the pathological process of multi-step, on a global scale, gastric malignant ranks first fatality rate ranks first in the malignant tumor. Earlier than the transfer of blood and lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer metastasis via the blood circulation and lymphatic spread two important ways, about 50% of patients with gastric cancer when diagnosed that the transfer took place. Lesions invasion and lymph node metastasis, its prognosis has an important impact on the cause of death in patients. Therefore, the study of tumor invasion and metastasis occurrence mechanism and its molecular biological basis for the transfer of control of gastric cancer and improve the survival rate of patients with gastric cancer have clinical significance. Discovered in recent years, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) plays an extremely important role in tumor growth and metastasis, has become an important foundation of the study of the molecular mechanisms of tumor metastasis. Lymph node metastasis of the tumor, which is the focus of current research. Which, VEGF subtypes of VEGF-C, VEGF-D is highly homologous, closely related to the clinical and pathological features and prognosis of many tumors, tumor lymphatic generated major regulatory factor of great significance in lymph node metastasis. VEGF-C and VEGF-D with lymph node metastasis is rarely reported, and there are some differences in the findings of the role of VEGF-C and VEGF-D in lymph node metastasis has not been unanimously approved. Objective: This subject intends using immunohistochemical methods to observe the expression of VEGF-C and VEGF-D in gastric carcinoma and aims to further research of VEGF-C and VEGF-D expression in gastric carcinoma and lymph node metastasis. Methods: 94 cases of gastric adenocarcinoma surgical cases, lymph node metastasis negative group (n = 41) and lymph node metastasis group (n = 53), another cutting edge part of the stomach tissue without lymph node metastasis resection as normal gastric mucosa Set the control group (n = 41). Using immunohistochemistry SP method, the detection control group and two groups of gastric cancer specimens VEGF-C and VEGF-D expression. Results: VEGF-C in gastric cancer tissues positive expression rate than in normal gastric mucosa was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05). VEGF-D in gastric carcinoma and in normal gastric mucosa, the positive expression rate (P lt; 0.05). Gastric cancer with lymph node metastasis, VEGF-C positive expression rates higher than those without lymph node metastasis (P lt; 0.05). Gastric cancer with lymph node metastasis, VEGF-D positive expression rate than those without lymph node metastasis, but no statistical significance (P gt; 0.05) Logistic regression analysis, the number of independent variables included multivariate analysis of VEGF-C expression with gastric regional lymph node metastasis has a strong correlation (OR = 1.944, standard regression coefficient = -0.665, P lt; 0.05). Conclusion: VEGF-C in gastric cancer tissues positive for high expression and lymph node metastasis; positive for high expression of VEGF-D in gastric carcinoma, may be involved in tumor progression, but not with lymph node metastasis relationship.
