Abstract


The plana vitrectomy combined with silicone oil tamponade is the treatment of complicated retinal detachment the primary means significantly improve the success rate of vitreoretinal surgery . However, after a number of factors may lead to secondary glaucoma , wherein the silicone oil injection , silicone lifetime of silicone intraocular glaucoma associated with other types of glaucoma , compared with a certain clinical features. This type of glaucoma, this incidence , risk factors , pathogenesis and clinical treatment are reviewed.
