Abstract


Background : gastric (Gastric cancer, GC) is one of the common malignant tumor , ranked second in cancer mortality in the world . Pathogenesis of gastric cancer is not clear , generally considered to be more than one factor ( such as H.Pylori infection , host factors , and environmental factors ) , a multi - stage process . The main purpose of this study was to investigate the the GM130 gene exon IL - 6 gene -174 polymorphism with gastric cancer susceptibility correlation for the early diagnosis of gastric cancer , to provide a scientific basis for treatment and prevention . : Northwest 142 gastric cancer patients and 200 healthy control samples , the use of the polymerase chain reaction - denaturing high-performance liquid chromatography (PCR-DHPLC) to detect GM130 exon 1-5 polymorphisms and polymerization enzyme chain reaction - restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) detection of IL- 6- 174 polymorphism genotype frequency statistics and correlation analysis . Results: GM130 five exons polymorphisms (SNPs) in northwest China crowd . G / G genotype frequencies of the IL-6-174 loci at 100% in gastric cancer group , the control group was 99% ( 198 / 200 ) , G / C and C / C genotype is not found in the gastric cancer group . G / C genotype frequency in the control group was 1% ( 2 / 200 ) . IL-6-174 - locus genotype and allele frequencies between patients with gastric cancer and control groups there was no significant difference ( P > 0.05 ) . Conclusion : GM130 the first five exons , and IL-6-174 polymorphism no correlation with the northwest China population significantly increased the risk of gastric cancer , these polymorphic sites may not be the causes of gastric cancer .
