Abstract


objective:To study the expression of Ezrin and HIF-1a in colorectal carcinoma and discuss the relationship between them by means of immunohistochemistry and tissuc chip technique.Methods:Constructing a block with 66primary foci colorectal carcinoma and 33 their lymphnode metastatic foci on it.The expression of Ezrin and HIF-1awere detected in these specimens by using strepta-vidinperoxidase(SP)immunohistochemical method.Results:There are no differen-ces between primary foci colorectal carcinoma and their lymphnode metastatic fociin Ezrin and HIF-1a expression(P＜0. 01,P＜0.001).The expression rates of Ezrin(87.9%,57.6%)and HIF-1a(94.0%,66. 7%)are significantly correlated with lymph no-de metastasis(P＜0.01,P＜0.01). There are no satistical prominence in Ezrin and HIF-1a protein demonstration between gender,age and histological classes(P＞0.05).A highly positive correlation was observed between Ezrin and HIF-1a(r=0.389,P＜0.01).Conclusions:Overexpression of Ezrin and HIF-1a may play an important role in the progression and metastasis of colorectal carcinoma.There may be interaction between them each other.
