Abstract


Objective: To investigate the fine particles of activated carbon adsorption mitomycin C ( MMC ) to guide the clinical value of lymph node dissection in radical gastrectomy . : 53 cases of gastric cancer patients hospitalized in our department from January 2007 to December 2007 were divided into two groups , accept the injection of activated carbon adsorption anticancer drug mitomycin C ( MMC ) 16 microparticles the human activated carbon group did not receive injection of 37 people as a control group . Activated carbon group in patients undergoing peritumoral subserosal and gastric lymph nodes carbon fine particles injected into the adsorption mitomycin ( MMC - CH40 ) , intraoperative MMC - CH40 Black lymph nodes as a clear logo , line radical gastrectomy control group routine radical gastrectomy . Then , the lymph nodes of the two groups of clear , blacking lymph nodes and lymph node metastasis were analyzed. Results: (1 ) each case the number of lymph nodes removed : activated carbon group ( 32.7 ± 11.4 pieces) was significantly higher than that in the control group ( 17.0 ± 8.7 pieces ) ( P lt ; 0.05 ) , mainly N2 lymph node dissection was significantly increased ( 23.1 ± 8.0 pieces ) : ( 8.7 ± 4.2 pieces) accounted for the 58.2 % of the total number of lymph nodes removed ; (2) the number of black stained lymph nodes , lymph nodes in N 1 black dye (66.7% ) compared with N2 ( 49.8 % ) ; (3) black stained lymph nodes positive rate of lymph node metastasis (20.7%) was significantly higher than black stained lymph nodes (3.7% ) and the control group ( 15.2 % ) ; (4 ) activated carbon operative time was slightly longer , but not increase surgical complications . Conclusion: The tumor around the local injection of Advanced Micro Devices, activated carbon is an effective , easy and safe method for lymph node dissection of a guiding role .
