Abstract

Glass fiber - aluminum alloy laminates (GLARE) fabrication process parameters are optimized , including the bottom of the aluminum alloy sheet rubber content , of prepreg fiber volume fraction , drying conditions and laminates pressing process . Resistance to the environment , the fatigue crack growth rate and fatigue crack fracture morphology of the the GLARE laminates static mechanical behavior , testing and analysis , and provide an experimental basis for the preparation and application of GLARE laminates . The study found that the GLARE laminates interlayer ensure interfacial bonding preferably premise , the bottom glue less amount , the higher the fiber content of the prepreg , better tensile properties of GLARE laminates . According to the the GLARE laminates of different types of fiber plies direction , the tensile properties of laminates were calculated using MVF equation , the calculated and experimental results agree well . GLARE laminates compression and bending performance is affected by the performance of the aluminum alloy plate and a glass fiber common impact . GLARE special layer structure such that it has excellent environmental resistance . Due to fiber \Crack relative delamination area was double oval , crack propagation and delamination growth is the GLARE laminates fatigue process two injury patterns , both of which are related to the \stable expansion.
