Abstract


As one of primary and fundamental Islam scriptures, whether in aspects of Muslim secular life or the spirit of the ideological level, The Koran all has had very profound and powerful effect. From the international academic research, the Eastern and Western scholars also regard it as a required reading on Islam and the golden key to explore the true meaning of Islam. This paper will study The Koran which is a Chinese translation of classical Islam. Through in-depth analysis of the text, we will find it a wealth of literature. At present, native and foreign scholars of Islam is still in the initial or the unconscious stage.In terms of the existing research products of The Koran, most focus on its reflection of social life and the angles of The Koran on the Arabic literature, while there are rare researches talking about it in literary studies and no systematic Depth. To deal with this situation, the paper will take the whole text of The Koran as the object of study, and contact with modern and contemporary narrative theory and other relevant social scientific theory, to discuss the literature of The Koran. In order to make a exploratory step of taking a classical work of Islam as literary works of studies, this study may be with a tentative meaning in the literature research of The Koran.This thesis is divided into four parts. The first chapter analyzes the research status of The Koran at home and abroad, and explains the significance and the purpose of choosing this topic. The second chapters talks about The Koran from narrative context and time, which not only highlights the relationship between the narrator and the story, the combination between the narrator’s narrative language style and angle of view, but also shows the narrative discourse and strategies. The last chapter interprets the rhetorical art of The Koran. From above analysis, basing on the relatively weak current part in the domestic academic research, the writer believes that this study will both analyze The Koran as the original texts of Islam from the narrative point of view, and explore the new vision and develop the new areas of The Koran explanations from the text and readers.
