Abstract

Objective : To observe the enhanced external counterpulsation (EECP) in patients with coronary stenting plasma nitric oxide (NO) and endothelin -1 (ET-1) the impact of changes . Methods: Acute myocardial infarction due to coronary artery stenosis or 15 days for elective stenting 120 patients , mean age 62.4 ± 14.5 years old. 89 cases were male and 31 females . Randomly divided into experimental group and control group 60 cases , the experimental group after intervention from conventional drug therapy and started on the third line of EECP, once a day , every one hour , for 30 consecutive days for a course of treatment. Conventional drug treatment control group , both groups before the first counterpulsation within 15min , last counterpulsation within 15min after blood samples tested for NO and ET-1 levels . Results : The experimental group was significantly higher NO levels after treatment , compared before and after treatment was statistically significant , P <0.05; NO levels after treatment control group also increased, but no significant difference before and after comparison experiments , P> 0.05; treatment groups after the NO content was statistically significant compared , P <0.05. Experimental group after treatment, ET-1 levels decreased significantly after treatment, there were significant differences in contrast , P <0.05: control group after treatment ET-1 levels also decreased, but no significant difference before and after comparison experiments , P> 0.05; treatment groups ET-1 levels after a significant difference , P <0.05. Conclusion: experiments confirmed acute myocardial infarction 15 days after surgery or interventional coronary artery stenosis in patients with postoperative enhanced external counterpulsation device a course of treatment (30d) can be significantly improved plasma NO and ET-1 levels , expressed as NO content increased significantly , ET-1 levels decreased significantly .
