Abstract


This article with the spatial theory will attempt the cultural analysis to the short-term China soap opera representational space. This is a soap opera research area new attempt, simultaneously is also to a spatial culture criticism application domain development.The findings discovered: The space is not merely an objective vessel and the background, also does not equate in the environment, it has the very strong energetic attribute, behind has the very strong social culture attribute. Based on the spatial theories, discovered that the Chinese near future soap opera representational spatial type will be many, compared with prominent will have the family space, the sex space, the cultural space, the rank space, the political space, to colonize space and so on. In these spaces, is concealing cultural significances and so on social class, sex, nationality, these meaningful cultural space has everywhere filled the difference, the contradiction and the authority battle, is an authority battle’s sports arena, each strength weapon cache. The partial soap opera representational space has the very strong construction function to our daily life space, construction in real life feminine space, father right space and expense space and so on aspects.
