Abstract


Engine ignition performance is affected motorcycle engine power, economy and emissions characteristics of the key factors. The current energy crisis and environmental pollution problems have become increasingly severe , major cities have undertaken limit friction , Jin Mo sport but also for China's motorcycle industry sounded the alarm , improve engine power , economy and emission characteristics have become the motorcycle industry priority. Conventional ignition system performance testing equipment increasingly unable to meet the high performance motorcycle engine development and production needs. This article from the motorcycle industry background, the analysis of the motorcycle ignition system works , ignition performance parameters characteristic and traditional ignition performance testing on the basis of insufficient equipment proposed based on wavelet analysis motorcycle engine ignition performance automated test systems . Automatic Test System integrated use of advanced digital signal processing theory and automated testing techniques . In this paper, the performance parameters of the test from the ignition principle , automatic test system design , mechanical operation platform design, signal acquisition module design, signal processing , and automatic test system application software design and other aspects were discussed. Focuses on the wavelet threshold filtering noise reduction in the ignition voltage signal processing applications, and the use of Visual C and MATLAB mixed programming techniques to achieve ignition voltage signal noise reduction. Experimental results show that wavelet analysis based motorcycle engine ignition performance automatic test system has stable performance, real-time, high precision, strong anti-interference characteristics, to better meet the engine ignition performance test requirements.
