Abstract


The picture materials of Hanzhengjie selected in this paper were taken by the Research Center of Urban Environment observing and accumulating for three years continually as the object investigated, thoroughly analyzed the logical relationships of social space of Hanzhengjie. Through the map analysis, literature reading, the site investigation and study, the comparison research, and the oral history study, it carried on the explanation and consideration to the space of Hanzhengjie.This paper believes that, the reasons of the current spatial shape of Hanzhengjie presents is the co-effect of the civilian, the authority and the social environment, which have a very close connection with the internal spatial logic. Besides the essential theory depiction and the background introduction, this paper narrated two parts of contents with emphasis. In the first part, Henri Lefebvre’s triad space of production theory was used; picture materials which obtained in the previous years’investigation and study were reread, reclassified, and divided into the spatial practice, the representations of space and the representational spaces three parts. The paper defined three parts which corresponded with the strengths of the inhabitant, the government and the society, and then selected the significance spatial characteristic pictures to carry on the detail description. In the second part, seven meaningful significance spatial viewpoints were chosen, and the detail explanation to the spatial production triad relationship were carried on, it clearly expounded the relations of three aspects which affect the cyclical process, analyzed the characteristic of Hanzhengjie space of production, thus excavated the social space logic relationships of Hanzhengjie.Map analyzes was used in the essential chapter of this paper to elaborate, which showed the investigation and study achievement graphically of Research Center of Urban Environment for recent years. This paper advocates using spectator’s attitude to clearly distinguish the logical relations which the space forms, and neutrality regards the urbanization. However, the research is just a preliminary attempt and there must be some defects on account of the complexity and long duration of transformation. The author wishes the paper would be profitable for further research in Hanzhengjie and the research could provide instructive advices for the whole urban space.
