Abstract


Ultrasonic ranging technology with a wide range of applications in the industrial field , in areas such as vehicle navigation , Underwater Acoustic , has been used in level measurement , the automatic robot navigation as well as air and underwater target detection , identification, location , and other occasions . Therefore , in-depth research the ultrasonic ranging theories and methods have important practical significance . In order to further improve the accuracy of the distance measurement , to meet the requirements of the engineering staff of the measurement accuracy, distance measurement range and range finder , we developed a set of C8051F300 microcontroller - based portable ultrasonic ranging system . The system includes both hardware and software subsystems . On the hardware side , around the microcontroller to start communication , pretreatment interface hardware circuit is designed to echo data acquisition , processing , uploading and other functions , and microcontroller chip temperature sensor acquisition ambient temperature , the speed of sound to do a correction ; software using Matlab simulation tool constructed the transmitted signal and the echo data of the cross-correlation time delay estimation method , the pseudo-random code spread spectrum ranging LMS adaptive delay estimation algorithm simulation , analysis of the simulation results and the the advantages and disadvantages of the algorithm , the final selection of the cross-correlation time delay estimation method for ultrasonic Ranging processing algorithms . Additionally, in order to establish the C8051F300 microcontroller with computer communications subsystem , the preparation of the data processing based on VB language program and interactive interface , real-time processing Microcontroller collected data into the computer via RS-232 , and display of measurement results and adjust the communication parameters , the microcontroller ranging system error analysis and performance assessment . experimental and simulation results show that this rangefinder has a small size , light weight and ranging and high precision , high practicality ; paper drawn the conclusion of the Department to further develop the ultrasonic detection technology research with a reference value .
