Abstract


Stylistics has its unique charm to attract a large number of linguists , our linguists have also put into the ranks . This thesis was the famous American writer Joey Scarborough two the Luo Aoci 's , five short stories from the point of view of the Literary Stylistics , hoping to clarify the relationship between Oates short story style theme . This paper is divided into six chapters : The first chapter is the introduction Stylistics and Oz . This article is devoted to discussing the relationship between style and theme , and thus chapter describes the theme of five short stories and Oates works roughly style features . Chapter II of different narrator theme effect were analyzed. This chapter describes the classification of narrator , and why Oates in the five novels selected different narrator for a detailed analysis . The third chapter is the analysis of quotations and dialogue in the novel . This chapter describes the classification of the Introduction , a detailed analysis on the introduction of the various types . This chapter also apply the principle of the session analysis of the dialogue in the novel . Chapter employing a statistical knowledge of these five novels word, sentence , paragraph quantitative analysis . The chart in this chapter believe will make analysis more intuitive and vivid . Chapter rhetorical use of these five novels were analyzed to prove its concise and simple style . The sixth chapter is a summary of the full text . The authors hope that this article can clearly answer why Oates Each novel will choose different methods of expression . And hope this article for the majority of Oates readers a better understanding of his works have a greater help .
