Abstract


Objective: 1 . Detection of p53 protein expression in colon cancer tissue . Explore the relationship between p53 protein expression and colon cancer peritoneal metastasis and clinicopathological features . Method: 1. Immunohistochemical SP method detected in 60 cases of peritoneal metastasis of colon cancer tissue , the p53 protein expression in colon cancer tissue of 30 patients with peritoneal metastasis . Application SPSS13.0 statistical software for statistical analysis. Results: immunohistochemical methods to detect p53 protein expression in 60 cases of peritoneal metastasis of colon cancer tissue p53 protein expression was 51.7% ( 31 / 60 ) , 30 patients with peritoneal metastasis of colon cancer tissue was 83.3 % ( 25 / 30 ) , the two groups was statistically significant ( P lt; 0.05 ) 2.p53 protein expression and colon cancer degree of differentiation , Dukes stage and whether lymph node metastasis : poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma p53 protein expression was differentiated adenocarcinoma (79.2%) compared with the positive expression rate ( 67.4%) and well-differentiated adenocarcinoma positive expression rate ( 34.9% ) ( P lt; 0.05 ) ; Dukes of p53 protein in the B phase specimens expression of p53 protein positive expression rate ( 33.3% , 58.6% ) lower than in Dukes C , D phase specimens positive rate (72.3 % , 83.3 % ) ( P lt; 0.05 ) ; p53 protein in 41 cases with lymph node metastasis in colon cancer specimens expression positive rate ( 80.5% ) is higher than the 49 cases without lymph node metastasis specimens of p53 protein expression positive rate ( 46.9 % ) ( P lt; 0.05 ) differences were statistically significant . P53 protein expression with age , regardless of the degree of differentiation in the peritoneal metastasis of colon cancer tissue (P = 0.865, P = 0.357) Conclusion : 1.p53 protein positive expression rate in the peritoneal metastasis of colon cancer tissue than those without peritoneal metastasis of human colon cancer . Of 2.p53 protein in colon carcinoma abnormal expression may be involved in the development of colon cancer .
