Abstract


The question that this article focuses on is: Why could Neoconservatives exert an enormous influence on American foreign policy? The article launches analyzing from two angles of the Neoconservatives’ own factor and external factor. When analyzing Neoconservative’s own factor, I put Neoconservatives into the history of the American political culture, and comb out Neoconservatives’ course of born and development, so summarize the enormous political influence of Neoconservative. When analyzing external factor, I launches analyzing from three angles of "Heaven’s favorable weather, Earth’s advantageous terrain and human unity". On "Heaven’s favorable weather" aspect, I expound that 9·11 incident bring political opportunity to Neoconservatives; On "Earth’s advantageous terrain" aspect, I expound that Neoconservatives are in the favorable position that influence American foreign policy at present; On "human unity" aspect, I expound the fact that Neoconservatives and religious right wing unite ,which also has expanded their influence power further. Through above analysis, conclusion part point out that American conservatism has developed by leaps and bounds since 1960s, which has already made America "turn right" in the last decades, this development trend is the deepest reason that the Neoconservatives can produce the enormous political influence, and is also the important clue of analyzing contemporary American numerous questions.
