Abstract


End of the 1980s, post-colonial theory is applied to the study of translation, and post-colonial translation theory. The theory goes beyond the limitations of the traditional translation of the Chinese version, instead Translation activities of social, historical, political, and other factors. Post-colonial translation theory focuses on the translation between the rights of the strong culture and weak culture to explore the cultural exchange translation differences from the cultural perspective of small and weak and vulnerable. Lin Shu as China's modern semi-colonial and semi-feudal society during the one translator, are engaged in a large number of translation activities precisely in the the inequalities period of cultural exchange between China and the West, this article attempts from the perspective of postcolonial theory to study the Translation of Lin Shu, Lin Shu translation studies provide new ideas. In this paper, the method of case studies and comparative analysis, Lin Shu \what are the differences, and then identify the unique characteristics of Lin Shu translation, and try to analyze the characteristics of these translation Lin Shu in the postcolonial context, to clarify its produce and rationality of the existence. Through comparative analysis, the authors found that Lin Shu translation features in general can be summarized in the following two points: Translation of Lin Shu presence of a large number of deletions, additions and improved translation; translation of Lin Shu naturalized main translation strategies of the large number of Western thought and culture in the original line processing it into traditional Chinese language and culture within the framework of. Paper the main core of the features listed above Lin Shu translated the postcolonial context analysis, and the following conclusions: First, the post-colonial perspective of Lin Shu Lin Shu's social, historical and cultural background translation of one of the important factors; Second, the postcolonial context Lin Shu political attitudes related to his choice of the target text, also affect the selection of his translation strategies; Finally, according to the post-colonial translation theory, Lin Shu translated seen as a means to resist foreign ideological and cultural invasion, and thus taken as the Main translation strategies to achieve the translation solution decolonization role. The paper then discusses the historical period at the time of the role played by this unique translation method of Lin Shu, that his translation is not only a revelation to the then Chinese literature, and more from the political level of the thinking of the people as a whole and even China The Government has had a huge impact. Finally, a comprehensive summary and points out the future research is worth further exploration. SUMMARY This article aims to Lin Shu's translation activities set back to the specific social, historical, cultural context, from the post-colonial theory perspective Analysis of external factors that affect their translation activities, in order to enrich Lin Shu Translation Studies perspective.
