The bronze ware, from its birth, had close relationship with the politics, economy, science, culture, art, religion, taste, and etc. It embodied strong culture intensions, thus bronze civilization formed. China is the nation which has the most thriving bronze civilization. In Chinese bronze manufacturing, the long prosperity time, rich types, enormous quantity, exquisite techniques, magnificent decorative patterns, especially the strong political meaning and the deep culture information, made Chinese bronze civilization exceed that of the other ancient far away.The bronze art of Shang Zhou period was the first pinnacle to that of our country. Till the late of spring and autumn period, the deep change of bronze wares had occurred from the content to the shape, and the second pinnacle had appeared. Seen from the tide of history microscopically, bronze civilization of Qin, Han dynasty and the after, appeared one and one new fields with the brand-new state, so it is also worth discovering, researching and evaluating.At present, the research content of bronze ware is fairly extensive, including the category of social sciences, and natural science. But the starting point in most monographs depends on the archaeology and the history aspect, and the research of art design aspect is very scarce, especially the systematic research on the shape art and its evolvement rule of bronze aware.Basing on the above reason, the thesis syncretized correlational knowledge of appearance and shape learn, method of design, semantics, ergonomics, archaeology and etc, analyzed and contrasted the shape of bronze aware, and researched the bronze aware of different periods and areas by using the method of system. In addition to the above, the bronze aware as the research object refers to that of not only the Xia, Shang, and Zhou period from the time axis, but also the initial stages to the Han dynasty. From the area axis, the research of the thesis only involved China bronze aware, and bronze aware in other civilization is not mentioned.The basic frame of this thesis can be divided into four parts:First part is first chapter. In this part, the writer clarified the meaning, origin as well as the available research achievements on the bronze civilization in brief, and imported the research on bronze civilization to the shape of bronze ware.Second part is from second chapter to the 5th chapter, is the core part of thethesis. In this part, the writer researched and explored shape of bronze ware in detail, analyzed the shape of origin, modeling element, modeling classification, art character and design consciousness etc.Third part involves the 5th chapter and the 6th chapter, is comparative important part of the thesis, by comparison researching from two axis of time an area, in order to find the evolvement rule of bronze aware shape.Fourth part is the 7th chapter. It is the conclusion part of thesis, sum up the contentions and problems that remain to go deep into.
