Abstract


With the deepening of the level of economic interdependence, the exchange rate has become an important economic variables that affect a country's macroeconomic stability. In this paper, the quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of the combination of empirical analysis and normative analysis method, the first on the exchange rate regime theory analysis, and the effects of exchange rate regimes in developing countries choose their practice (Thailand), turn on China is currently the main features of the RMB exchange rate regime, problems and future reform were discussed. The text is divided into three parts, the basic logic structure is as follows: The first part is the basic theory of the exchange rate regime. This part deals with the theory of exchange rate regime two basic questions: First, the choice of exchange rate regime, that is, to take what kind of exchange rate arrangements to determine the foreign exchange rate of the national currency, and here, too, including the adjustment of the exchange rate level is reasonable judgment as well as exchange rate. The third part is the choice and reform of the RMB exchange rate regime. This section first analyzes the floating exchange rate system in our country at this stage of infeasibility, and then analyzed the feasibility of a managed floating exchange rate system, and the basic principles of the proposed reform of the RMB exchange rate regime. Finally, proposed a number of reforms operational recommendations, including improving the relationship between supply and demand in the foreign exchange market, sound macroeconomic management, and gradually expand the exchange rate floating range.
