Abstract


After World War II , the regional trade arrangements rapid development , especially since the 1980s , the coexistence of regional trade arrangements and the multilateral trading system and development have become the basic features of the world economy field . On the one hand , the establishment of the WTO , and the operation of driving economic globalization continues to develop in depth ; On the other hand , the various types of regional trade arrangements to flourish around the world , set off the climax of regional economic integration . What is the relationship ? Multilateral trading system and regional trade arrangements and how to correctly handle the relationship between China and regional trade arrangements ? Relationship between China and regional trade arrangements Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) has a kind of revelation ? These problems of China 's future development of cross-strait has a very important significance . The author commenced It is in this context of international and domestic laws and rules of the WTO on regional trade arrangements . This paper is divided into five parts . Part I: analysis of the connotation of regional trade arrangements , characteristics and related theory ; Part II: review of the history of regional trading arrangements , and analyzes the status of the development of regional trade arrangements , and introduced the world major regional trade arrangements and commentary ; part III : the WTO legal rules on regional trade arrangements , namely on Tariffs and Trade General Agreement on \\Part IV: depth study of the relationship between regional trade arrangements and the WTO multilateral trading system , first made ??evaluating the overall relationship between regional trade arrangements and the multilateral trading system , regional trade arrangements and then analyze the positive contribution of the WTO and the serious challenges relations between the two are complementary . Part V : Based on the discussion of the previous four parts , of how to deal with the relationship between regional trade arrangements , the two sides how to establish closer economic and trade relations , issues related legal measures and strategic initiatives .
