Abstract


With the rapid development of Internet , network security now become a major concern and one of the topics studied . In a variety of security technologies , intrusion detection technology as a supplement conventional defense technology , academia has become a research hotspot . Intrusion detection systems can be of important data , resources and networks to protect , through the rational allocation , you can detect network attacks inside and outside . However, traditional intrusion detection systems are still some shortcomings , such as flexibility , collaboration and detection efficiency, etc. is also unsatisfactory. This article P2P technology and mobile agent technology is applied to the field of intrusion detection , expect to improve system performance and extend system functionality. This paper focuses on P2P technology and mobile agent technology applications in intrusion detection features and advantages of the design of a mobile agent based on P2P intrusion detection system model PMAIDS. This model uses P2P structure, the components are constituted by the agent , and heartbeat technical support redundant system security. Designed in detail the structure and function of each agent , and the agent process and collaboration between communication model, communication model using hierarchical structure and P2P system . Communication on the specific implementation for the realization of the message semantics and message transmission between the low coupling , this paper uses three-tier architecture , and the message and the message transport layer presentation layer designed in detail . The communication system design, implementation, transmission of information between agents security and stability. Finally, the article implements P2P-based mobile agent based intrusion detection system, the basic framework and system functions were tested. Experiments show that the design of P2P-based mobile agent based intrusion detection system model has a good collaboration , mobility and autonomy , reflecting the P2P and mobile agent technology used in intrusion detection features and advantages.
